Chris Mundey joins our Learning Enrichment Team!

I would like to introduce myself to the Pacific Lutheran College community.

I hail from the New South Wales Central Coast with 12 years of teaching experience.  My experience in both mainstream education and in schools for specific purposes, has allowed me to gain a greater understanding of students who may need that little bit of extra help in order to reach the curriculum, through social and emotional avenues. 

As a teacher I fully understand the responsibility I have to create change in people and will look to be a consistent positive role model throughout the entire PLC community. My passion lies in catering to the different needs of students and supporting teachers and families as we work together to help students maximize their learning capacity.

Over the last 12 years I have integrated well with staff, students, external agencies and the wider community and am looking forward to doing the same here at PLC.  I sense from my conversations with staff and students that PLC is a supportive and respectful learning community and I look forward to contributing to this college culture. 

Over the coming weeks I encourage parents to drop into the Learning Enrichment Centre during PCG time (8.00-8.35am) and introduce yourselves. This will be an opportunity to meet informally and make an appointment if you would like to discuss your child’s learning needs.
