College Overview and Policies
Established in 2001, Pacific Lutheran College is a leading Kindergarten to Year 12 learning community that provides a rich education for a well-rounded life. With a strong academic focus and exceptional sporting, cultural, pastoral care, personal development and outdoor education programs, Pacific helps each child develop their own passion for learning across all dimensions of life. As a Christ-centred community, Pacific is focused on building strong relationships where curiosity, imagination, deep understanding and personal excellence are nurtured and encouraged.
Pacific caters for the needs for each stage of a child’s development and our curriculum is designed to support a seamless transition through the four sections of the College:
- Foundation College (Kindergarten – Year 2);
- Junior College (Years 3-5);
- Middle College (Years 6-9); and
- Senior College (Years 10-12).
LOCATION AND FACILITIES
Pacific Lutheran College is conveniently located off Kawana Way, in a picturesque setting on the Sunshine Coast. Our College campus spans over 13 hectares and also includes a rainforest, which can be utilised by staff and students for learning or leisure.
To compliment our innovative approach to education, Pacific provides flexible learning spaces that support a personalised, integrated approach to teaching and learning. All students and teachers have simultaneous access to network services and technology throughout the College, enabling flexible access to learning in both physical and virtual spaces.
