'Zen Zen Zo' Brings Physical Theatre To Drama Students

On Tuesday, senior teacher and performer Billy, from the now world famous Physical Theatre Company, ‘Zen Zen Zo’, ran an intensive workshop for our Year 11 Drama students. The workshop was centred on the development of core physical performance skills and devising physical theatre. In a high-energy manner, students learnt about the seven levels of performance energy, the three points of physical focus and the three devising skills required when creating physical theatre in performance. They will now be able to use these important skills in their own devising work, both in assessment and in their day-to-day Drama classes. Thank you to Billy for an inspiring and extremely worthwhile three hours.
