Year 8 Steampunk Masks

While 8A and 8B have been concentrating on reading a steampunk novel and researching a steampunk topic, 8C and 8D have been working on constructing a steampunk mask in the library this semester. Students researched the aesthetic of steampunk, used design principles to plan their mask and then created their mask using craft materials. Lastly, they learnt about electric circuits and constructed a circuit to light up an LED on their mask. Their work is on display in the library until the end of Week 9.
