CELEBRATING SUCCESS

Congratulations to Saxon Mathers, Year 7 student, who finished 2nd at the recent Australasian Scooter Titles. Saxon competed against 24 athletes from Australia and New Zealand to take home the silver medal.

The Queensland Senior State Age Netball Championships were held on the Gold Coast over the Labour Day weekend. There were seven Pacific Lutheran College students representing Caloundra and Sunshine Coast U16 and U15 teams along with our very own Michelle Dufty, Coach of the U16 Caloundra Red Team, and Emma Frohmuller, Assistant Coach of the U15 Caloundra Red Team.

Brooke Williams  - U15 Sunshine Coast Green

Katie Graves - U16 Caloundra Red

Gabby Gorham - U16 Caloundra Red

Ava Stanieg - U15 Caloundra Blue

Kate Williams - U15 Caloundra Red

Jessica Watkins - U16 Caloundra Red

Georgia Frohmuller - U15 Sunshine Coast Gold

Two teams made the Top 10 in Queensland with the U16 Caloundra Red Team placing 9th and the U15 Sunshine Coast Gold placing 4th.

Our School Netball Pathway/Journey has played a large part in our students competing at a representative level.

We look forward to the Queensland Junior State Age Championship in July with several Pacific Lutheran College students competing.
