This week the Junior Boys took on Nambour Christian College in round 4 of the SCISSA soccer competition. After being down 1-0 at half time, the boys managed to score an early goal at the start of the second half to finish the game with a 1-all draw.

The Junior Girls were looking to avenge last week’s shock loss when they played against Sunshine Coast Grammar School on Wednesday. The girls were down 3-2 mid-way through the second half and the game looked like it was going to go Grammar’s way. However, a spectacular goal by Georgia Harle levelled the score to 3-3. The girls then managed to slip one more goal in before the full-time whistle blew to win the game 4-3. Well done girls!

In the Intermediate Girls game, Pacific were up against St Andrew’s Anglican College. It was a very close game, with Pacific having possession for the majority of the game. However, it was the opposition who scored the first and only goal of the game. A good effort girls.

In the Intermediate Boys game, the top two teams currently on the ladder (both undefeated) played each other. The game was tight for the first 45 seconds of the game, until Pacific scored the opening goal to set the tone for the match. At the end of the game, Pacific walked away with the victory, downing Glasshouse Christian College 10-0. The Intermediate Boys remain top of the table and are looking very strong for the finals matches in a few week’s time.
