Year 6 Council Visit

This week, Year 6 students enjoyed a visit from Cr Peter Cox. He spoke with students about the Sunshine Coast Council’s wide range of roles and responsibilities. Students heard how the Council supports the region economically, environmentally and socially. They also learnt about Council’s energy consumption and sustainability, environmental programs that support local beaches and community initiatives such as public transport and sporting hubs.
