Year 5 News

2024 has been an incredible year of growth and collaboration for our Year 5 co-hort.  One of their projects in-house has been the completion of their art wall.  Taking the idea from Dr Dolling's signature frog images this year and along with teacher support, the students gridded the image into 30cm squares and then independently completed the square they selected.

Although not a perfect replication, the students were proud to display their names to the right of the image, which evolved into almost a patchwork painting. Their collaboration, support and sharing of skills was a delight to witness and we think their wall of Curiosity, Wonder and Discernment is a wonderful legacy to leave for the upcoming co-hort. A special mention needs to go to Jessica C, who showed and shared her art capabilities throughout the process, encouraging and supporting her peers.
