On Monday, Year 3 went on a Geography excursion to Dicky Beach and Currimundi Lake.

At Dicky Beach we split up into groups and interviewed people from the area. We asked them why Dicky Beach is so significant to them and why they think it is such a special place. We also asked for their suggestions on how we can protect the beach. We even met the lifeguards on the beach and asked them questions too.

Year 3 students then came together to walk along the boardwalk for 2.5km to Currimundi Lake. We had lunch under the shelters and finished our work booklets. We also drew a map of the areas we visited. We finished the day with a swim in the lake before heading back to school.
