Last week, the Year 11 Fitness class visited the Human Performance Centre (HPC) on the Gold Coast. HPC is a leading provider of Certificate III and IV Fitness courses and has a state-of-the-art training facility with the very best and modern training equipment.

Each student participated in a full body scan, which provided detailed information on personal fitness such as bone density, muscle mass, body fat and muscle symmetry. Students learnt how to train using Keiser machines, which use air pressure rather than traditional weights, and also had the opportunity to use the very best and latest Hammer Strength equipment.

This was a fantastic learning opportunity for our students and we thank HPC’s Edward Hayward for his time and expertise.
