What’s Happening in the Library?

Father's Day in the Library

Last week, students had the opportunity to make a card or a badge for Dad for Father's Day. Badges were designed, coloured in and pressed in our badge-making machine, while other students enjoyed writing a personal message for Dad and colouring in a card.

Visiting Author – Gus Gordon

Award-winning author and illustrator, Gus Gordon, visited the library this week to speak to the Prep to Year 2 classes. Gus is in demand as an illustrator, having illustrated 80 books for a variety of authors and he has written six picture books of his own. Gus talked to the children about writing and then led them through a drawing workshop.

Overdues and Holiday Borrowing

An overdue notice will be emailed home this week, if applicable. Please ensure all overdue books are returned before the end of the term. Next week, students may borrow as many books as they like for the school holidays.
