Welcome Back!

Welcome back to school for 2023. A special warm welcome to new families joining our Pacific Lutheran College community.  We are looking forward to getting to know all members of the community as we work together to do great things for our students.

There is a calm and positive atmosphere at the College, and we thank parents and carers, teachers and students for being so organised and ready to start the school year. A special welcome to our new Prep children and their families.

We appreciate how hard it has been for all of you to start school without the usual transition arrangements that would have been in place. Your children have made an amazing start to their time here and have come in smiling and positive. Thank you for the part that you have played in preparing them to start school. We look forward to working with you all and getting to know you.

This year Pacific Foundation College welcomes back Mrs Anna Maher from Maternity leave teaching in Prep and Mrs Sharon Hooper continues in 2023 teaching Year 1. We also welcome Mrs Kim Kiernan to the Junior College who has moved from Year 6 to Year 5. We are sure everyone is helping ensure these new staff members settle in well. It is wonderful to have parents back on school grounds!

We are holding our P-5 Parent Information session on Wednesday 1^st February in the Gym. We welcome you for a time to connect with drinks and nibbles from 5.30pm and our first session together will begin at 6.00pm. This evening is a great way to connect with each other and hear from our College leaders and teachers about the learning and opportunities that an exciting 2023 will bring.
