The Sunshine Coast Technical and Trade Training Centre (SCTTTC) is holding information nights for interested students and their parents on Tuesday 22nd October, from 4.00pm and Tuesday 29th October, from 6.15pm. SCTTTC’s courses provide opportunities for Senior College students to include a hands-on, trade-focussed course in conjunction with their senior years program at Pacific. University Scholarships

All universities offer a range of scholarships to school leavers. Year 12 students who are applying for university courses should make it a priority to research scholarships at their preferred university and apply for all that they are eligible for. If you need help to identify possible scholarship opportunities, please make an appointment to meet with Mrs Wanda Hayes.

CQU Principal’s Recommendation Scheme

CQUniversity has introduced a new scheme for students who are interested in studying at university but are concerned they won’t achieve the results they need. Under this scheme, the Principal can recommend students who they believe are capable of succeeding at university. Recommended students receive an unconditional early offer to study in their chosen course at CQU. Any Year 12 student can apply for the Principal’s Recommendation Scheme, here.

USC 2020 Head Start Applications Now Open

Applications for USC’s Head Start program in Semester 1 of 2020 will close on Thursday 31st October. Information is available on the USC website, here. To discuss the program, including how to apply, please make an appointment to meet with Mrs Wanda Hayes.

University of Melbourne – Trinity Young Leaders Program

The Young Leaders Program offers a selection of exciting learning experiences and activities over two weeks in early December, for Australian and international secondary school students. Students may attend for one or two weeks. All activities are hosted at the University of Melbourne and participants stay in Trinity College – one of the university’s oldest and best-known residential colleges.
