Thank You and Farewell Graduates of 2019
Thank You and Farewell Graduates of 2019
This week our Year 12 students have been involved in a range of activities as part of their rite of passage from the College. Among their many final activities, they have painted a canvas tile that will be displayed here at the College, walked the labyrinth, and planted a tree with their Year 2 buddies. Through these activities there has been reflection and a celebration of the different strengths and stories that each of the Year 12 students have shaped through their time at the College. Each student has grown and left their mark. They have helped to shape each other and the College as a whole. We have enjoyed their zest for life, good humour, considerable talents and appreciated the goodwill they have shown in serving our community and the broader community in so many different ways.
We thank the Year 12 cohort as a whole for their leadership and the contribution they have made over many years. A particular thank you to our 2019 College Captains Michael Hewitt and Rebekah Pierce, Vice Captains Jackson Laverick, Georgia Harle, Joseph Higginson and Stephanie Keenan and the Pacific Action Group and House Captains for the part they have played in leading the College well this year. We celebrate with each of the Year 12 students not only for what they have achieved but most of all, for who they have become as young men and women. May God bless each one of you richly as you step forward confidently.
