Thank You

There is the wonderful saying that it “takes a village to raise a child”. Not only does the village shape the child but it also shapes everyone who is part of that village. Growing in community means that each of us, whether student, parent or staff member, are shaped by the experiences we have together. Whether we are leading an activity, participating in it or providing support, the interactions we have, enable us to grow. Full engagement in community produces deepest growth. 

One of my great privileges is to be part of the Pacific community where staff, students and parents give their best for others in the community. Through all of our interactions we are constantly shaped by the people around us. Over this term there have been rich opportunities for learning in the classroom, in the outdoors, through sport, service and cultural activities and community events. Thank you to everyone for all you have given to make this term one of great growth. In community, every piece is needed to make up the picture.
