Grandparents and Friends Day

The sense of community which exists at the College is a fundamental and important component of a Pacific education. On Friday 25^th October we welcome grandparents and family friends to the College for the morning. The morning provides students with the opportunity to show and involve their extended families in their daily experiences at the College. Visitors will spend time in learning spaces with students before attending a morning tea and enjoying a variety of student performances.

Bandanna Day

Friday 25^th October is also Bandanna Day. Bandanna Day recognises the important work done by CanTeen, who support young people affected by cancer. Over the years, a number of Pacific students have been afflicted with cancer and have experienced the great support of CanTeen firsthand. Your support of this cause is much appreciated. Bandannas will be on sale during Grandparents and Friends Day.

Year 3 Camp

On Thursday 31^st October, Year 3 students will attend their first Outdoor Education Camp. A letter providing details of the camp and student medical forms have been sent home. Parents and guardians of Year 3 students are asked to complete and return the required documentation to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.

Prep – Year 2 Carpark

Recently a number of parents have raised concerns about the actions of drivers in the Prep – Year 2 car park.

Before school each morning and in the afternoon, the car park can become congested. Often students are alighting from or entering vehicles and moving through the car park. To ensure their safety, parents are reminded not to park in the drop off zones as it can cause increased congestion. Drivers are also reminded to follow signage and road markings as well as the directions of staff on duty. Your assistance in keeping our students safe and lessening stress and congestion in the car park is most appreciated.
