Sunshine Coast Mathematics Tournament Success
On Tuesday, 20 students from Years 6 and 7 participated in the Sunshine Coast Mathematics Tournament annual inter-school quiz, competing against 30 schools from the region.
Students were tested over three rounds: mentals, a team challenge and a team relay. The tournament aims to engage high achieving students in Mathematics and encourages teamwork, cooperation and a sense of fun.
In a tightly contested tournament, our students performed very well. Congratulations to the Year 7 A team who finished equal second in the mentals round and equal first in the team challenge. Well done to all students who participated.
