We wish our 41 Sunshine Coast Marathon entrants all the best for this weekend as they participate in either the 2, 5, 10 or 21.5 kilometre events! Information regarding logistics for the day has been forwarded to participating families. A huge thank you to Mr Stuart Pohlner who leads the running club each week as they pound the pavement every Tuesday morning.
Year 7-12 Athletics Carnival
Well done to all students for their amazing efforts last Friday! Participation was exceptional in all events, which made for a very enjoyable day.
Congratulations to Mumba House for taking out first place, followed by Wira and Bula. Congratulations also to Wira House who won the Spirit Award!
Students who finished in first or second place in any event or the first four in the 100m sprint will be in the Pacific team and compete at the District Carnival later this month. These students will have received a CareMonkey letter with all the relevant information.
