Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod

Friday 5^th May was a very exciting day for Pacific as we participated in the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod for the third year running. This year the event hosted over 35 schools from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gympie region. The College entered six items into the competition including students from Years 4-12 and for the first time, we had a mix of both female and male students! All of our groups are to be congratulated on their performances with our senior teams setting a new Pacific record with their scores. We are very excited by these results (listed below) and are looking forward to future events and growing our dance department.

• Junior SCISSA Jazz: 83/100
• Junior SCISSA Contemporary: 83/100
• Tuesday Extension Group: 83/100
• Middle College SCISSA Hip Hop: 84/100
• Senior Dance Contemporary: 86/100
• Senior Dance Jazz: 86/100 and Highly Commended
