Standing Together

As we commemorate Remembrance Day, we remember all of those who have served our country to preserve the freedoms and way of life we enjoy. As we remember, we acknowledge that Australians of all different backgrounds and countries, including indigenous people, have stood together and made sacrifices for us. Our strength comes from being able to stand together with common respect for values and principles that are at the core of our country. As we stand together, there is a common sense of shared home and shared purpose. We show our respect for the sacrifices others have made by making the most of our opportunities. We stand respectfully together to continue building on what our elders have given us.
