SCISSA Training and Term 2 Gala Day
SCISSA training continues next Monday afternoon for all groups. We have our last trial game for this term next Thursday 26th May against Matthew Flinders Anglican College. This is in preparation for the Term 2 Gala Day, which will be held on Thursday 9th June.
On the Gala Day, students will need to be at school by 8.15am and meet on the front oval near the gym. Teams will be travelling to various locations around the coast and will need to depart by 8.30am.
Kayaking and dance students will have the opportunity to participate in specialised programs on the day that will either be run here at the College or at locations around the coast.
A reminder to all kayaking students and parents that kayak training occurs each Monday afternoon at Lake Kawana. The College bus will take students to training; however, all students will need to make their own arrangements home after training. Thursday training sessions during SCISSA time are now held at Currimundi Lake. Students will be transported to and from these training sessions, arriving back at the College in time for normal departure at 3.00pm.
