Children and adults grieve differently due to their developmental stage. Young children can struggle to understand the permanency of loss and can sometimes express grief through tantrums or regressive behaviour. On the other hand, teens may not know how to express their grief and need space to process their loss. There is a range of information available on our SchoolTV site that will assist parents to help their children deal with grief and loss.
