An important component in growing young people is inspiring them to adopt a sense of civic responsibility to the communities they live in. Volunteering their time in assisting others is a pursuit that will benefit their personal growth and lifelong experiences immensely. In Term 2, students across the Senior College will have the opportunity to and are encouraged to think about how they can help others.

On Tuesday morning, the College student leadership team attended the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal launch breakfast. The Red Shield Appeal will take place next term. Students and families will be invited to volunteer their time to support this worthy cause and further information will be communicated in the coming weeks. We continue to grow young people to think beyond self, given the many service learning opportunities at Pacific.
