Rugby Update

U12’s Armidale Tour 2021

Unfortunately, due to the complex nature and logistics of crowd numbers and interstate travel, the annual Armidale rugby carnival has been restricted to Regional NSW teams only. This unfortunately means that we are unable attend the carnival for another year. Organisers are optimistic that under a national vaccination program, 2022 will move ahead as planned. I would like to thank all players and parents who expressed an interest in participating this year.

Fraser Coast 7’s

We are currently receiving expressions of interest for the upcoming Fraser Coast 7’s tournament that will be held on Saturday 20th March at Hervey Bay. We are hoping to enter four teams into the competition: U13, U15 and Open’s Boys, and an Open girls’ team. Please make sure all players register their interest with me so we can start consideration for total team numbers and trials.

District Trials

A reminder that players who are interested in competing in the independent school’s team are to register their interest with Nat Campbell (ncampbell@pacluth.qld.edu.au) for the upcoming trials. It would be fantastic to see the many talented Rugby players at the College attend these.
