We're heading to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a Japanese H-IIB!

In September, Space-X's Falcon 9 rocket caught fire during a pre-launch test at Cape Canaveral. Space-X was scheduled to carry Quberider's payload and Cape Canaveral was to be the launch site. Since the explosion, everything has needed to be altered in the scheduling of all of these procedures. The launch will now take place from the Tanegashima Space Centre on 9th December aboard a Japanese H-IIB rocket. Data will start being sent back to Earth around 19th December.

Above left is a picture from the Quberider Houston partner, Jerry, as he prepares to drop off our ISS bound SAGAN board, which is programmed with students' code. The student code and related tests have been cleared for the December 9th launch. In pre-testing our code onsite, we have taken a snap of the Student Space Group (Finn was absent) using the Pi camera. Hopefully we will get some interesting pictures returned to us as well as data from the sensor recordings.
