A very large thank you to everyone who gave their time and talents to make our Open Day on Sunday such a successful event.  The warmth of welcome, generosity of spirit, enthusiasm, and excitement of sharing the richness of learning and growth at the College was energising and uplifting.  Thank you to our staff, parents, and students who all gave generously of their time and themselves to welcome and share our community with a large contingent of new people to the College.  A standing ovation from a very appreciative Principal.

We look forward to enjoying the performance of Dracula this weekend.  There has been a growing buzz of excitement flowing from the cast and crew as they have completed their final preparations.  We wish Mrs Delaney, her team, and the cast and crew all the best.

The Year 4 students enjoyed their outdoor education experience last week. Through engaging in different types of activities in new settings young people grow in confidence, resilience, appreciation, independence, relationships, self-awareness, flexibility, connection to nature, their relationship with God, and their ability to live, learn and collaborate with different people.  We thank Mr Paul Brace for his very capable leadership and organisation and Chaplain Mark Hauser, Mrs Sarah Atkinson, Mrs Amanda Empson, Mr Joe Doran, Mrs Sharon Middleton, Mr Rob Belchamber, Ms Michelle Bourne, Mrs Leah Croke, and Mr Damian Davis for their guidance and support of the young people.

Thank you to our community for your support of the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. This is a simple and important way for us to serve our local community. Donations of non-perishable food and/or household items are being collected until Thursday 26th May.

We say a prayer of thanks for the generosity of spirit of the people of this community.
