Throughout last week as we commemorated ANZAC Day within the College and in the broader community, there was a strong focus on serving others and a recognition of the sacrifices that others had made for us. Again, on Sunday at our Open Day, staff, students and parents gave their time to welcome people into our community. The day provided a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time with teachers and students and to learn about our approach to growing young people deeply and richly.  There was a very positive vibe as people enjoyed the student led tours, indoor and outdoor activities, performances and the hospitality of our students and parents. Thank you to our families, students, staff and the Friends of Pacific for your support on the day. Thank you in particular to Mrs Stephanie Scarlett, Ms Marg Gunn and Mrs Chris Henschke for their key leadership.

Well done to all students who represented the College at the District Cross Country event this week. Both our primary and secondary teams finished in sixth place and we congratulate all students on their efforts. We wish Chloe Mitchell, Bella Lumkes, Alicia Woods, Imogen Hiley and Zara Richters all the best as they prepare to compete in the regional carnival later this month.

The energy around our Oklahoma production continues to build and we look forward to the performance on 24th and 25th May. We encourage all families to take advantage of this opportunity to bring family and friends to what promises to be a thoroughly entertaining production. Tickets can be purchased directly from The Events Centre, Caloundra.

We pray that God’s love would fill our hearts and minds and equip us to respond with care and compassion.
