It was a delight to feel the warmth and dignity of our Year 12 students as they graduated last week.  Themes of close relationships, growth, hope and opportunity permeated the speeches made by the College Captains with a highlight of the final chapel being the live link to connect with Clarice Junqueira in Brazil. We thank our teachers, the Heads of Department and Director of Teaching and Learning, Ms Sue Arahill who have been leading their academic learning, the Heads of House and the pastoral team who have provided important social and emotional support and staff who have provided rich co-curricular opportunities.  The final week of activities involved many staff and we thank them. In particular we express our appreciation to Head of Senior College Students, Mrs Kim Bonello for her leadership of the senior students as a cohort and coordination of their final week of events.

We congratulate coach Mr Brendan Delaney and the Intermediate Girls B Soccer team who won their grand final last night.  The girls engaged with good spirit and teamwork to win 4-0.  We thank our soccer coaches Mr Brendan Delaney, Mr Josh Cummins, Mr Duncan McNee and Mrs Leah Croke who have supported teams within the Wednesday night SCISSA competition this term.

We thank our Friends of Pacific Executive capably led by Chair Mrs Jenny Lee for their strong and enthusiastic leadership of the parent community.  We thank outgoing executive members, secretary Mrs Lisa Ackerman and Vice Chair Mrs Deni Fowler for their significant contributions this year.  We also express our appreciation to outgoing member Mrs Tracey Hindmarsh who has provided tremendous service to our community as Chair and member of the Executive for many years.  We thank and wish the office bearers for 2019 of Chair Mrs Jenny Lee, Vice Chair Mrs Allyson Sarvari, Secretary Mrs Erin Carter, Treasurer Mrs Penni Buchanan and OCEANfest Coordinator Mrs Teena Thompson the very best.

We pray that God would continue to guide and protect this community as one where trusting relationships foster growth.
