It was a delight to join many other members of our community and enjoy the talents of our students as they staged Elf, the Junior Musical. Congratulations to Mrs Kristy Astwick, Mrs Lisa Stevens, Mrs Tracey Hickey, Mrs Carlie Purkis and Mr Paul Cusick and the cast and crew on a thoroughly entertaining and professional production. Capable and creative direction, voice coaching, choreography, set design and construction, costumes and make-up enabled the tremendous talents of the students to shine through. Right through to the program design, bump in and bump out this was a wonderful team effort that provided a memorable experience for the audience and the cast and crew. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who played their part.

A very large supporter group of Pacific students and families cheered on our three basketball teams that were in the grand finals Friday evening. All three teams played with good skill, spirit and determination.  The Intermediate A Girls, who played in a Division 1 final played particularly well in a very competitive game that saw them finish as runners-up. The Junior C Girls showed great courage as they played hard in a very tight match to win their grand final in the dying moments of the game and our Intermediate B Boys team played with great energy and determination to finish as runners-up. All three teams can be very proud of their achievements over the season and look forward to building on these results next year. We congratulate and thank our basketball coaches of Mr Brad Burdon, Brooklyn Graves, and Mr Mark Hauser for the growth they have supported in our students. We thank our parents for their support this season and the very large contingent of students who enthusiastically and with very good sportsmanship cheered on our teams on Friday night.

Students across Years 6-11 enjoyed attending our first Youth event with over 40 students joining our Chaplains Mr Mark Hauser and Mrs Holly Gricks on Sunday night. Students enjoyed connecting with a variety of activities and then reflecting in small groups on “Who is God?”. The connections, fun and reflection provided a wonderful night for our young people. We are excited to see such a successful start to our Pacific Youth and thank Chaplains Mr Mark Hauser and Mrs Holly Gricks and Brooklyn Graves, Mrs Sara Taverner, Mrs Chantal McAllister and Miss Georgie Snelling for their support.

We say a prayer of thanks for the service and gifts our Year 12 students and their families have grown and shared with our community. We pray that God would keep our Year 12s safe, bless them, give them joy and enable them to live hope-filled lives of good purpose.
