If you are thinking of applying to go to a US College after finishing High School, then you probably want to sit the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Students’ SAT results are used by nearly all US Colleges as part of their admissions process. PLC is an official SAT Testing Centre: the only one on the Sunshine Coast. We will be holding a free practice session for interested PLC students on Saturday 30th October. This is an opportunity to see how the test works, so you know how to prepare for the real thing. The practice session will run on similar lines to a real testing session and will use an official practice test. If you are interested in sitting the SAT practice test, please register your interest by emailing Wanda Hayes. Only students who have pre-registered will be admitted on the day

Navy Virtual Maritime Warfare Officer Information Session (Year 10 to 12)

This Defence Force recruiting event is an interactive live presentation with current serving Navy Maritime Warfare Officers, and is your opportunity to find out more about life in the Navy on the land and out at sea, including a virtual submarine tour. This event will also give you a chance to ask the serving Officers questions about the lifestyle and their experience in the Australian Defence Force; and the steps they took to joining the Australian Defence Force. The event will be held on Tuesday 12th October from 6:00pm on Google Meets. To register go to https://www.defencejobs.gov.au/events/event/P11ZOGC
