PLC Netball Club

The year is almost at an end and since the finals, the Committee has been working to develop the program for the 2020 season. A review of Club operations has resulted in a change of training days for the 2020 season. Training will still occur on the back courts at Pacific during the following days and times:

• U12 and below – Wednesdays from 3.15pm to 4.30pm or 5.00pm (subject to age); and
• Open teams – Thursdays from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.

A reminder for the PLC Palominos of 2019, your team graduates into the open category next year, so your training will occur on Thursday.

Squad training for our U12 and above teams will commence in Week 2 of Term 1. The program is as follows:

• Thursday 6^th February 2020 – Squad training (U12 and above);
• Saturday 8^th February 2020 – CDNA sign-on;
• Thursday 13^th February 2020 – Squad training;
• Saturday 15^th February 2020 – CDNA sign-on;
• Thursday 20^th February 2020 – Squad training;
• Saturday 22^nd February 2020 – Trials day (team selections);
• Wednesday 26^th February 2020 – Team training for U12 and below commences;
• Thursday 27^th February 2020 – Open team training commences;
• Saturday 7^th March 2020 – Coaching clinic; and
• Saturday 14^th March 2020 – Season commences.

The Club has secured the services of Kim Howard, former assistant coach at the Sunshine Coast Lightening, to provide a series of development clinics for our coaches. The first of these is confirmed for Saturday 7^th March 2020. There are still coaching opportunities available in 2020 for parents and students in Year 8 and above.
