PLC Netball Club

Planning for the 2018 season continues to gather momentum with a number of new initiatives.

Trial Days

For those considering netball for the first time, trial days will be offered after school from 3.15pm – 4.15pm on the following dates:

• Tuesday 30^th January 2018
• Tuesday 6^th February 2018
• Tuesday 13^th February 2018

The trial days will be held on Pacific’s rear courts and provide interested players with the opportunity to meet coaches, other players and get a feel for what PLC Netball Club is all about. You are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions.

Pre-Season Training

Pre-season training commences on Tuesday 30^th January from 3.30pm – 4.30pm on Pacific’s rear courts. All U12 players and older are encouraged to attend; however the sessions are not compulsory. The session will focus on skill development and fitness and will also provide each player with an opportunity to ‘press’ for selection within their respective teams.     

Women’s Team

It is confirmed that PLC Netball Club will field a women’s team in 2018. The team will play in the Tuesday night social competition, commencing on Tuesday 23^rd January at the Caloundra Indoor Sports Stadium. All are welcome to participate, including students who are turning 14 in 2018 or older. This is a great opportunity to extend your friendships within our College community and to bring together teachers, students and parents. Grading Day

A whole club training and grading day will be held on Saturday 17^th February commencing at 4.00pm. Final team selections will be made on this day. The day is also designed to bring the club together as a Netball Community. The training session will be followed by a social event for the whole family. Details will be announced in due course.
