The end of the season is almost upon us and it is now time to reflect on our journey over the last 12 months.
Firstly, well done to the Arabian and the Brumbies for their games on the weekend. Whilst the results didn’t go our way, all involved can take pride in their efforts. The courage and commitment shown by the girls is a credit to all involved.
The year has been one of consolidation. From a slow start, we have:
- Installed a new committee installed;
- Had 10 girls complete their umpire training;
- Had four teams qualified for the finals;
- Hosted two successful CDNA rounds; and
- Had eight volunteers to coach teams for next season.
When you view the year from this perspective, the club has made great progress. The committee will continue to work towards growing our club and making improvements, as identified through parent and player feedback. These are exciting times and the future for the club is extremely positive.
It is now time to celebrate our successes. A reminder that our club breakup is on this Sunday 10th September at 5.00pm at Laserzone. Presentations will commence at 5.00pm sharp, so please be on time. See you all on Sunday!
