We are pleased to announce that during Term 4 as part of the surfing program at Pacific Lutheran College, students will be invited to participate in a learn to surf program.

It will be a condensed version of the Weet-Bix Surf Grom program run through surf schools all over Australia. The program will be held at Kings or Dicky Beach depending on conditions. It will be administered by Russell Hoffman, owner of North Caloundra Surf School in conjunction with staff from Pacific Lutheran College.

Sessions are one hour in length and due to begin on Monday 29th October and run for 4 weeks finishing on Monday 20th November. Participants will be required to be at the venue by 6.00am for a 6.15am start with the program concluding at 7.15am. Parents and guardians will be responsible for transport to and from the venue.

As numbers are limited to 24, positions will be filled on a first in basis. Students must commit to all four sessions.

Each child will receive a Weet-Bix Surf Groms pack upon the completion of the four-week program. Children need to attend all four sessions in order to receive this pack.

If you are interested in your child participating in this program, please email Mrs Natalie Campbell (PLC Sports Aide) ncampbell@pacluth.qld.edu.au to secure your child’s place and receive further information.
