People Together

In Australia we are so blessed by the melding of people from different cultures. People from every corner of the world and our Indigenous community have come together to form a country that is enhanced by the diversity of traditions and beliefs. There is a richness to our indigenous heritage and to the cultural understandings that people from different places have brought into our community. As we interact together, we are invited to come as a guest into the lives of those we meet. Learning to listen for and see different cultural nuances is important in learning to grow through and celebrate diversity. Having soft edges where people can retain identity, welcome each other and together continue to shape a community that has a big heart enriches everyone.

God has blessed us richly through the diversity that is Australia. A big land with a big heart!
