Pausing to Celebrate and Say Thank You
Pausing to Celebrate and Say Thank You
Pausing to celebrate and say thank you helps us to re-centre and appreciate all that God and the people in our lives have given us. The end of a day, end of a week, the end of a term are great times to pause and reflect on all of the good things that have happened in our lives and to be thankful for those things. Each period of time, provides us with tremendous opportunities for learning and growth. Paying attention to what is good and being grateful enhances our wellbeing and opens our eyes to possibility. It gives us the perspective and energy to grow through disappointments and to be proactive and solution focused.
God gives each one of us so many blessings every day. The parable of the healing of the 10 lepers where only one returns to give thanks is a powerful reminder for us to pause in our business and to be one who says thank you.
