SCCSA Challenge Cup 2019

Pacific FC had a number of representative players compete in the recent SCCSA Challenge Cup: Joe Harrys, Patrick Dale, Angus Friend, Luke Harrys, Zaida Williams and Alex Lee. Congratulations to the Under 13 SCCSA Girls (Zaida Williams) and the Under 13 Central (Luke Harrys) teams on being named Age Group Champions. 

Congratulations also to the Under 14 SCCSA North team (Alex Lee) for winning the overall Challenge Cup. The Cup, which is based on fair play rather than the score, provides an opportunity for teams to showcase their best team spirit, best coaching spirit and best attitude towards the referees. PFC Upcoming events

We warmly welcome back all players; the forecast for this Saturday is looking great!

As it's a busy term, we have put together a reminder about some of the upcoming events:

• Round 14 – 20^th July: Home game (canteen duty – Dolphins, Hammerheads, Lions, Barracudas, Seals and Eels).
• Round 15 – 27^th July: Home game (canteen duty – Swordfish, Razors, Dolphins, Stingrays, Seals and Eels).
• Round 15 – Team photos: The photo schedule will be emailed out to families next week.
• Round 16 – 3^rd August: Away game.
• Round 17 – 10^th August: Away game.
• Round 18 – 17^th August: Final round – away game.
• 24^th and 31^st August and 7^th September: U11-U14 semi, prelim and grand final matches. Saturday 24^th August is our last home game for the season with the Rooball Carnival. We will most likely host the U6 and U7 carnivals with five fields.
• Friday 13^th September: U11+ SCCSA Adermann Night (SCCSA invite only).
• Sunday 15^th September: Pacific FC end of season family fun day and presentations at the College. All Pacific FC families welcome.
• 12^th, 19^th and 26^th October: SCCSA Representative Trials for the 2020 season (U10-U16) at Mudjimba Multisport. All current U9 (born 2010) – U16 players are welcome to trial.
