Club Training Shirts

With much excitement we unveiled our new training shirts and polos from KPI Sports, courtesy of our sponsors, Jetts Kawana + Caloundra, Australis Roofing and Green Beginnings. These training shirts are a gift from the club and are to be kept for subsequent seasons. Players are to wear their new shirt to weekday training sessions while their regular jersey should be worn to the game each Saturday.

Round 13 Match Reports

U6 Mantarays - With passports packed, cars refuelled and knee blankies at the ready, the Mantarays paddled into unknown territory - Nambour. In an unnatural habitat, the Mantarays relished in the opportunity to spread their fins and dive into the Antarctic-like microclimate. With great talent comes great responsibility and it was on show as the team confidently dispatched the opposition with goal after goal, and a record 39 throw ins. Swimming with pride and confidence, the Mantarays are now eyeing their place in history. Not as a great team, but the Greatest of all time (GOAT). Manager Mike

U9 Sharks – The team played a fabulous spot of soccer against the Nambour Wildcats! A sweetie treat sandwich proved just what Noah Y needed on the morning, as he lapped the field, kicking, defending, and attacking and was therefore named Player of the Match. Ollie was also noted for his strong game. Special thanks to stand in coach John! We hope Coach Peter feels better soon and well done Sharks! Manager Katie

U11 Marlins – The team played a tight game against Unity Serpents with strong play by both teams and great plays right across the field. Several shots on goal from both teams, but a couple of unlucky breaks resulted in a 0-2 loss for the Marlins. Coach Doug.

U12 Razors – There were beautiful soccer conditions on Saturday with a highly anticipated game for the Razors, and a full squad available. As to be expected, a tight game against the top team Raptors with plenty of pressure by the Razors paired with solid play all over the park. Having the best of play in the first half, with lots of effort and determination, the Razors however were not able to get on the scoreboard. The second half was an even game, and it seemed the first team to score would bring it home. Chances on both sides but the Raptors ran away with the victory in the end 0-3. A lot to learn from this game and looking forward to securing a finals position in the next coming rounds.

Well done to all and heads up! An exciting final half of the season awaits!
