Year 5 Camp

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Year 5 Outdoor Education Camp at Bornhoffen in the Numinbah Valley. The weather was perfect, the food was fantastic, the accommodation very comfortable and the facilities first rate. Students participated in a variety of activities designed to promote leadership, cooperation and teamwork and as well as build their self-esteem. Students accepted all the challenges put before them, acted responsibly, enjoyed themselves and enthusiastically participated.

We thank Year 5 class teachers Mrs Sarah Atkinson, Mr Scott Compton and Mrs Fiona Schefe, nurse Mrs Sharon Middleton, teachers aide Mrs Pia Foxlow and outdoor education aides Josh, Maddi, Susan and Andrea for their professionalism and assistance while away.

Year 3 Camp

All Year 3 students will depart for their Outdoor Education Camp at Luther Heights on Thursday 26^th October. Year 3 parents are reminded that all camp/medical forms need to be returned to your child’s classroom teacher as soon as possible.
