Ensembles Concert

The Pacific Lutheran College Music Department warmly invites you to attend our mid year Ensembles Concert next Friday 11^th August. This event will be a celebration of music at Pacific and is a wonderful occasion to hear what each of our ensembles have been working on this year. There will be performances by Pacific Junior Voices, Pacific Senior Voices, Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Junior Strings, Senior Strings, Percussion Ensemble and Brass Ensemble and Woodwind Ensemble.

Date: Friday 11^th August

Location: Church On The Rise, Caloundra (33 Latcham Drive, Caloundra West)

Time: 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start

A gold coin donation is optional at the door (to contribute towards venue costs). Food and drinks will be available to purchase on the evening.

Hymns We Love Service

The Senior Pacific Voices has once again been invited to participate in the St Mark’s Lutheran Church ‘Hymns We Love’ service on Sunday 6^th August at 8.00am.

This year is the 500^th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation and the choir has been asked to sing two hymns: ‘In You Is Gladness’ and ‘Wake, Wake, for Night is Flying’. We will also augment the singing of other well known hymns with the congregation.
