Monday Night Netball
This week, Pacific recorded four wins in the Monday Night Netball competition:
- Year 7 team defeated St John’s Christian College, 17 – 7
- Year 8 team defeated St John’s Christian College, 8 – 7
- Year 8/10 team defeated Mountain Creek State High School, 30 – 11
- Senior 2nd team defeated Siena Catholic College’s Open B team, 14 – 13
A honourable mention also goes to the Senior 1st team, who are the first Pacific netball team to play in Senior A Division, placing them in the top ten teams out of 148 this season! The girls played a good game, winning the first two quarters, but unfortunately the Unity College team was stronger in the second half, taking the game 24 – 12.
Olivia Gartrell, Emma Frohmuller, Lou Hindmarsh, Olivia Evans, Kaitland Webb and Aimee Sheppard were awarded Most Valuable Player for this round!
