Mayor's Telstra Technology Challenge 2017

This week has been busy for both teams involved in the Mayor’s Telstra Technology Challenge. On Wednesday evening the teams began the mentoring session at Sparks Bureau in Maroochydore. The Mayor also presented the teams with their finalist award and officially launched the competition. Groups from eight schools in the area are taking part in the competition this year. The mentoring sessions will run over four weeks and involve the teams working with a local entrepreneur to develop a business plan for their product.

Last week, the Grass Dudes were invited to ABC radio where they were interviewed about their idea, their roles and how they see their product developing.

In early June there will be the opportunity for the College community to participate in the Voter’s Choice Award. Keep watching this space for important dates as well as the links for voting.
