Lutheran Swimming Carnival

Well done to all Pacific students who attended the annual Inter-Lutheran Swimming Carnival this week. There was strong student participation and spirit on display throughout the day and it was pleasing to see a number of excellent individual and team performances.

Pacific was in third place for the majority of the carnival but recorded a number of good results in the backstroke and butterfly events and finished in second place! At the end of the carnival, a boy and girl champion from each school was announced, based on their individual placings from each event. Congratulations to Jaz Edmondstone and Oliver Grey who were named Pacific’s champion swimmers. Jaz also broke three records at the carnival:

• 9 Years Girls 50m Freestyle – 37.53
• 9 Years Girls 50m Backstroke – 45.31
• 9 Years Girls 50m Butterfly – 46.72
