Lids 4 Kids - Plastics into Prosthetic Limbs

Over the holidays, families are encouraged to continue collecting their plastic lids and bottle tops for the Hospitality Department who is supporting the Lids 4 Kids movement. As part of the Envision Hands project, Lids 4 Kids collects and recycles plastic lids and bottle tops, which are then turned into prosthetic limbs for disabled children using 3D printing technology. Lids can be brought in at the start of the 2020 school year.
