Student Acknowledgment

Congratulations to Scarlett van den Hurk who competed on the weekend in the Queensland All School Aquathlon held at Lake Kawana.

This was Scarlett’s first aquathlon, competing in the 10-11 girls’ race. Competitors were required to start the race with a 1km followed by a 200m swim and a further 1km run. There were over 100 competitors in Scarlett’s division from across the state, with Scarlett managing to finish in second place.

Well done to Scarlett on this achievement.
