Primary Independent District Swimming Carnival

On Tuesday, 43 students from Years 3-7 travelled out to Sunshine Coast Grammar to represent PLC at the annual Independent District Swimming Carnival.

It was a fantastic day of swimming for PLC students with a number of excellent individual and team performances on the day even with the rainy weather that persisted throughout the day.

At the completion of the carnival, our team finished in 6th place out of the 11 competing schools.

Well done to the following students who finished with top three places in events during the day.

Congratulations also to the following students who finished in the top three places in their age group.

Lily Costa                        Under 10 Girls Age Champion

Harlen Smith                   Under 12 Boys 3rd place

Lastly thanks to all parents who supported our students on the day in the rainy conditions.
