Junior Athletics Training
During Term 1 and continuing into this term, selected primary students have been participating in athletics training each Monday afternoon here at the College with Chris Brearley from Athletics Australia. Chris is offering further sessions for any sprinters interested in improving their technique and speed. The Athletics Australia sprint program is designed to teach young people to run more efficiently and gain speed and fitness while having fun in a friendly team environment.
Sprint Training sessions are for students aged 11 to 17 years. The sessions are located on the oval at Caloundra State High School on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4.15pm to 5.15pm.
