Every day we have opportunities to serve each other in ways unseen. In families and friendships, there are many times when small and large acts of service go unseen.  Parents are constantly serving their families in ways unseen. Within communities such as Pacific, the extra focus given by staff in their learning, planning or support of students and families, care of grounds, quality of administrative organisation and support are filled with moments of unseen service.  Our parents and students serve this community in many ways unseen as they support our weekend sports clubs, their children’s learning and involvement in activities, the Friends of Pacific, events and the support of each other.  Unseen service adds richness, colour, quality, opportunity, capacity and hope to people’s lives.

Love is at the heart of unseen service. It is given without the need for recognition or reward. Recognising that we serve out of love and care for people and the planet, creates space for joy to gently flow.  Jesus’s love for people was and remains constant as He served and serves in ways often unseen and not fully understood.  God’s love for people and joy flows through each of us as we serve in ways that are unseen and yet so life-changing.
