Pacific is pleased to be holding its annual Japanese Speech Contest in Term 3 this year. The contest is run as part of the Foundation Council Cup and all participating students will earn a point for their house.

This year, the categories and topics will be:

  • Years 3-5 Self-introduction (students will be judged separately for each year level)
  • Years 6-7 Describe your super hero
  • Years 7-8 Talking about school life
  • Senior Years 9-12 Describing your typical school day

Auditions and Timeframes

Due to the large number of entries expected from the Junior College, we are asking students in Year 3-5 to submit their entry form and speech on a USB. Submissions are due to the Junior College Office by Week 5. Finals will then be held for Junior College students in Week 8. Entry forms, envelopes and speech details will be available from the Junior College.

Middle and Senior College speeches will be presented in Week 5. Further information is available from your Japanese teacher, including speech details and entry forms.

We look forward to hosting the competition!

がんばって!
