On Friday, the Music Department recorded its 2020 Ensembles Concert. All music ensembles recorded pieces they had been working on throughout the year and this will be combined into a Zoom concert that will be shared with the Pacific community on Monday 23rd November. An invitation will be emailed closer to the date. We look forward to sharing our music with you all. Thank you to all Pacific music staff and tutors for their time and energy in supporting students to prepare for the concert. Thank you also to our wonderful students for their commitment throughout the year!

On Monday, senior student Lachlan Eden performed The Last Post on trumpet at a Remembrance Day service for Kawana Companions in the Kawana Community Centre. We congratulate Lachlan on his performance. It is a particularly hard piece to play and Lachlan represented himself and the College well, delivering his performance to a very high standard.

This week during an online Zoom meeting, we launched the 2022 New Zealand Music Tour. We are very excited to offer this tour for our senior music ensembles. If you missed the meeting or would like any further information, please contact me directly at: helenw@pacluth.qld.edu.au.
